The size itself looks nice, works fast and was all to easy to setup.
The thing We would warn people about is you do need to connect the scale using a provided USB cable in your computer to set it up. The port to connect the USB cable for the scale is found battery compartment, so when you finally put the batteries in don't placed the cover back on. You'll you have to be taking it back off again for connecting the dimensions in your computer. If the batteries are installed you'll go the Withings how do people make a merchant account, then you'll connect the dimensions via USB on your pc to touch base it for your network along with the account you recently created. I'd personally also suggest reading the FAQ online if the scale is setup, it provides good information concerning the display and messages you will get on there.
I had not a problem connecting the scale to my secure wireless network, which also uses mac filtering. I'd no requirement to change some of my security settings to obtain the scale connected.
I just purchased this scale on Amazon and I am happy with it -- not merely while using the scale itself plus the web-based interface for tracking progress, but also while using team behind it. Whenever We have run into complaints about the net-based interface (to become expected since it's something new), members with the team react to my issues via their online forum almost immediately and earn changes almost immediately. That, to me, is the reason why vid great product rather than good product -- a responsive team that listens and engages in dialog while using customers. BTW, the website works as advertised, but there were small little things that bothered me. Other quick things:
- The entire process of connecting the scale to my password-protected wireless network was amazingly simple. Options had problems connecting webcams, etc. to your wireless net, don't let that keep you from trying this. It had been really smooth and simple.
- The automatic user recognition is great. It's nice i do not have to select user1, user2, etc. by tapping within the scale.
- I do not utilize iphone app much, but I really like it is there and can apply it more while i get nearer to reaching my goals. It is just a best part to think about before walking into a donut shop. :-)
- It's a beautiful device. I adore great design and I think great design really should be rewarded.
I assume you can think about us a fan and that i hope they are going to make more connected products in the foreseeable future.
